How one man’s tweet brought credible witness into Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s lawsuit

A credible witness took to the stand today to testify in Johnny Depp’s defamation trail against his abusive ex-wife, Amber Heard; and it’s all thanks to one guy’s tweet.

Morgan Night, the previous owner of Hicksville Trailer Park, took to the stand to give his version of events on the night that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard stayed at the park.

Accompanied by approximately 12 other people, Depp is said to have rented out the entire park; with Heard’s sister Whitney being amongst those who stayed that night.

Having spent 45 minutes to an hour with Depp, the evening was seemingly going well until Night overheard Amber “yelling at him”. Testifying that Depp “seemed almost afraid”, this seemingly average man has become a credible witness in what is one of the most-watched cases in the world.

But how did Mr Night become a witness in the trial?

Having come across a tweet by a Twitter user known as ‘That Umbrella Guy’ (Or ‘That Umbrella Man’ if you’re Elaine 🙄) which read:

Bringing in the Hicksville incident accusations.

Johnny Depp will be accused of being jealous because a woman was “sitting close” to Amber Heard. Depp said she had “taken happy something.”

Depp is accused of ”removing her hand and yelling at Amber.”

Mr Night gave a brief summary of his understanding of what happened that night in a reply to the tweet:

‘That never happened. I was with them all night, Amber was the one acting all jealous and crazy😳’

It was then that Mr Night was contacted to become a witness in the trial; which saw Elaine finally learn how to turn her microphone on and do her best at having a ‘Camille’ moment with her objections.

The widely followed trial is due to come to an end this Friday- with the jury set to begin deliberations which may take up to six weeks.
