Officers from Gwent Police are searching for suspect after a broad daylight attack sees local man hospitalised.
The victim was allegedly hit across the head with a bottle, suffering from minor injuries at around 2.30pm on Monday 10th January.
The suspect has been described as white, of slim build, aged between 30 and 40, around 5’7 tall and had short brown hair. The assault happened near the Malcolm Uphill Pub. Gwent
Gwent Police have released a picture of a male that they would like to speak to in connection with the assault, stating that he could provide information that may assist with police enquiries.
